Born from the rhythm of motherhood, “Keeps Time” moves through the rising, tending, circling, and constant motion of caring for others while trying to find a moment to breathe yourself. It was written from the realization that there was no song that quite captured the quiet ache of holding everything together while running on empty.

Built around a heartbeat-like pulse, the song blends folk, chant, and soul-rooted storytelling as it follows the shape of a day that begins before dawn and never truly ends. “Keeps Time” is for anyone who has ever carried more than they thought they could and kept moving anyway.

The title track received second place in its category in the 2026 Talent is Timeless International Songwriting Competition.
