Black Coral Resources & Updates

Black Coral Resources & Updates

Thank you for visiting.

Because I continue to receive questions regarding Passman Designs, Raintree Black Coral, repairs, and black coral jewelry, I have created this page as a central resource for current information and recommendations.

A Brief History

Passman Designs closed in 2013 after many decades of creating and selling black coral jewelry.

Following the closure, Raintree Black Coral acquired the remaining black coral inventory and continued serving many Passman customers through repairs, custom orders, and restoration work for the years that followed.

Raintree Black Coral is permanently closed and is no longer accepting orders, repairs, or service requests.

Passman Designs

For those interested in Passman jewelry and designs, I recommend Brindle & Fig, the licensed owners of Passman Designs.

Repairs & Restoration

For repairs, custom orders, restoration work, and general service on Passman and black coral jewelry, I recommend Trinh.

Trinh worked with Passman Designs for many years and has extensive experience caring for these unique pieces. I confidently recommend him for repairs, restoration work, and custom projects involving black coral jewelry.

Remaining Vintage Black Coral Pieces

Although Raintree Black Coral has closed, I retained a very limited collection of vintage black coral beads and components that remained in my personal possession.

From time to time, I create one-of-a-kind pieces using these vintage materials as part of my current work through Mystic March.

Because these materials are limited and no longer being replenished, each piece is unique and available only while supplies remain.

When these vintage materials are gone, there will be no more.

A Personal Note

Many of you knew me through Passman and Raintree Black Coral. It was a privilege to help care for these remarkable materials and the stories they became part of.

My creative work has continued in new directions through jewelry, visual art, writing, and music, but I remain deeply grateful for the years spent serving the black coral community.

Thank you for your support, trust, and kindness over the years.
