Music

Shannon Mahoney is a painter, writer, storyteller, and mother who turns the weight of ordinary days into songs and art. Her work weaves folk roots, soulful honesty, and emotional truth, drawing from the rhythms of motherhood, memory, and the things we carry but rarely name. Each piece lives at the intersection of resilience and tenderness, where craft becomes catharsis.

These are slow-burn songs—shaped by memory, loss, and the quiet work of self-reclamation. Each track stands on its own, yet all are part of the same unfolding story.

Written over time and shaped by lived experience, these songs belong to a larger body of work that is still becoming. They are works in progress toward an album planned for release in 2026.

Together, they tell a story about voice, power, inheritance, resilience, and survival—set against a landscape that feels familiar and uneasy all at once.
